Production
editJackson was inspired by Nick and Nora Charles in The Thin Man. Principal photography took place in Jackson's Little Italy, San Diego condominium. The film was made for $75,000.[1]

Reception
editBobby LePire at Film Threat scored the film a 9.5 out of 10.[3] Mike Haberfelner at (Re)search My Trash said it is "a great watch, not only for whodunit fans."[4] Rebecca Cherry at Film Carnage scored it 5 out of 10 and said the film "had a good idea but the execution lacks style."[5]
