Mustapha Mohd Yunus Sakmud[1] (born 9 July 1968) is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir since December 2023 as well as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sepanggar since November 2022. He served as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister V. Sivakumar from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a member and Division Chief of Kota Belud of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH coalition. He has also served as the State Chairman of PKR of Sabah since May 2024.[2][3]
