NFS, or Nýja fréttastofan, (English: The New News Service), founded in 18 november 2005, was an Icelandic news service of 365 and a television channel broadcasting news during daytime.[1] Its main news show was shared with Stöð 2 and Bylgjan with news reporters from those stations. News during other times where reported by less experienced news reporters, sometimes interns. NFS CEO was Róbert Marshall and Sigmundur Ernir Rúnarsson was news director. NFS stopped broadcasting on 22 september 2006. After its demise, the main news show moved back to Stöð 2 and Bylgjan.
