Nate Noel (born May 4, 2002) is an American football running back for the Missouri Tigers. He previously played for the Appalachian State Mountaineers. His parents are Janet and Mark Noel. He also has two siblings and a daughter.

Early life and high school
editNoel attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School located in Miami, Florida. Coming out of high school, Noel was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Appalachian State Mountaineers.[1][2]
College career

editDuring Noel's first collegiate season in 2020, he rushed 82 times for 510 yards and three touchdowns.[3][4] In the 2021 season, Noel had a breakout season leading the sun belt, running for 1,126 yards and four touchdowns on 199 carries where for his performance he was named first team all Sun-Belt.[5][6] During the 2022 season, Noel notched 604 yards and six touchdowns on 87 carries.[7] In the 2023 season, Noel would rush for 834 yards and five touchdowns on 173 carries for the Mountaineers, while also hauling in 16 receptions for 86 yards.[8][9] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Noel decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[10][11]
Missouri
editNoel decided to transfer to play for the Missouri Tigers.[12][13] In week four of the 2024 season, Noel rushed 199 yards on 24 carries as helped the Tigers to a win over the Vanderbilt Commodores.[14]
