Naza Alakija (born Nazanin Jafarian) is an activist and model.[1][2] In 2019, Alakija founded a group[citation needed] called SAGE Innovation Centre.[3][4] Alakija also supports a project that operates mobile library buses in Afghanistan.[5]

Biography

Alakija was born in Tehran, Iran.[citation needed] Her family relocated to the United Kingdom when she was nine.[6]

In 2017, Naza married Folarin Alakija, the son of Nigerian oil billionaire Folorunso Alakija.[7][8]

The 2022 climate change documentary Overheated was produced by Maggie Baird and Naza Alakija, under the director Yassa Khan.[9]
