History
editNetaji Nagar Day College owes its origin to Netaji Nagar College. Netaji Nagar College was founded in 1967.
In 1986, the trifurcation of Netajl Nagar College gave birth to Netaji Nagar Day College. It is a Government aided institution affiliated to the university of Calcutta..[2]
Departments and courses
editThe college offers different undergraduate and postgraduate courses and aims at imparting education to the undergraduates and postgraduates of upper-, lower- and middle-class people of Kolkata and its adjoining areas.[3]

editScience faculty consists of the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Botany, and Economics.
Arts & Commerce
editArts and Commerce faculty consists of departments of Bengali, English, History, Geography, Political Science, and Commerce.
Accreditation
editNetaji Nagar Day College is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[4] Recently, it has been awarded B++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).[5]
