New Albany Township is one of five townships in Floyd County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 49,252 and it contained 22,226 housing units.[4]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 38.95 square miles (100.9 km2), of which 38.46 square miles (99.6 km2) (or 98.74%) is land and 0.49 square miles (1.3 km2) (or 1.26%) is water.[4] Bills Lakes is in this township.
