Early Life and Education

edit

Nischay Malhan was born on November 14, 1995, in Pitam Pura, Delhi to Vinay Malhan and Dimple Malhan.. He grew up in a family that has been involved in content creation, with his siblings, Prerna Malhan (Wanderers Hub) and Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan), also becoming popular YouTubers. Nischay completed his schooling in Delhi and went on to earn a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi).[5]

During his time in college, he initially considered a career in engineering but gradually became more interested in digital content creation, which led him to pursue YouTube full-time.

Career

edit

Nischay began his YouTube journey in 2014 under the name Yes-Yes Bhai. He later changed it to It's Nischay before finally rebranding as Triggered Insaan in 2017. His content quickly gained traction due to his unique brand of humor, which blends sarcasm and light-hearted commentary on social issues, trends, and viral topics.[6][7]

Nischay Malhan and Thugesh (Mahesh Keshwala), have rejected the opportunity to join the Bigg Boss house, despite being offered substantial sums.[8] Fans had been eager to see Triggered Insaan on the show, especially after his brother, Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, made waves on Bigg Boss OTT 2.[9]

Here, he plays popular games like Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V, and Fall Guys while interacting with his audience in real-time. The channel has contributed significantly to his overall following, with a combined subscriber count of 34.2 million across both channels.[11]

Content Style and Popularity

edit

Triggered Insaan’s success can be attributed to his ability to produce content that resonates with a wide demographic, especially Indian youth. His humor is often rooted in everyday life, current trends, and meme culture, making his videos both entertaining and relatable. His roast videos on viral internet sensations, movie reviews, and social media trends have particularly contributed to his rise in popularity.

Personal life

edit

Malhan's siblings Prerna Malhan and Fukra Insaan and his mother are also YouTubers.[12][13][14] His father Vinay Malhan is a businessman.[15]

Upcoming Projects

edit

In October 2024, it was announced that Nischay Malhan would star in an upcoming gaming reality series titled Gaming Insaan on Amazon MX Player. The show features Nischay as he transitions from a popular YouTube content creator to a professional gamer. A trailer for the series was released, showcasing the intense challenges and gaming journeys Nischay will face throughout the show.[16]
