Nkem Uzoma (born 18 January 1962) is a lawyer, politician, and member of the House of representatives representing Ukwa East and Ukwa West Federal Constituency, Abia State, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).[1][2] He first served as a member of the House of Reps in 2007 until 2023.[3][4][5]
Early life
editUzoma obtained his West African School Certificate at Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt in 1979. He further obtained his A'level from the School of Basic Studies, Port Harcourt in 1982.
Before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, he obtained his Degree in Bachelor of Law (LLB) in 1988 at the University of Jos.[6][1]
Career
editNkem is a member of the Nigerian Instituite of Management (NIM). He served as a councilor and a member of the state house of Assembly in Abia State.[6]
He was elected into the federal house of representatives in 2007 where he served until 2023 and is a member of the committee on Public petitions.[7][1]
