"No Wahala" is a song recorded by Nigerian singer-songwriter 1Da Banton,[1] released in 2021 and re-released in 2022 as a remix featuring Kizz Daniel and Tiwa Savage by Squareball Entertainment.[2] It was written by 1Da Banton and produced by Blaisebeatz.[3] The song became a hit and went viral on TikTok,[4] peaking at number 15 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs charts.[5]

Background and reception
edit1da Banton sings in Nigerian Pidgin, a mantra perfect with the element of afro pop and a slow-bopping tune.[6][7] Premium Times included No Wahala in the best 25 Nigerian songs of 2021.[8]
In 2022, he announced the "No wahala" tour.[9]
Commercial performance
editThe song peaks at number 15 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. It also charted in several Apple Music top songs charts.[10] The song also contributed to 1Da Banton's inclusion on Dataleum's List of Top 10 Nigerian Artistes on YouTube in 2022.[11]
On April 10 2023, it surpasses 100 million streams on Spotify, making it one of the most streamed afrobeat songs on the platform.[12]
