The Sooners finished the season with a 12–10 overall record, and finished tied for fourth in the Big Seven Conference with a 6–6 conference record.[2] They were coached by Bruce Drake in his twelfth season as head coach of the Sooners. They played their home games at McCasland Field House in Norman, Oklahoma.
