Orongia medialis is a species of Orsolobidae. The species is endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1985 by Ray Forster and Norman Platnick from male and female specimens collected in Wellington. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
editThe female is recorded at 4.16 mm (0.164 in) in length.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Orongorongo Valley in Wellington, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
