Career

edit

Lock came through the AFC Wimbledon academy, having joined as an under-12. He signed his first professional contract with AFC Wimbledon on 13 June 2023.[5]

Prior to signing his deal, Lock had spent time on loan at Chatham Town during the 2022–23 campaign, where he featured three times in all competitions - scoring once, having joined the side on loan in March 2023.[6]

After returning from his loan spell, Lock featured for the first team during pre-season and made his professional debut for The Dons in the EFL Trophy against Stevenage on 5 September 2023 - as he replaced Josh Davison in the 82nd minute. Wimbledon went on to win the subsequent Penalty shoot-out.[7]

In September 2023, Lock was loaned out to National League South side, Dover Athletic,[8] On 2 December after featuring thirteen times for Dover, he was recalled by parent club, AFC Wimbledon.[9]

On 1 January 2024, Lock joined fellow National League South club Tonbridge Angels on loan until the end of the season.[10] But injury restricted him to only making eight appearances for The Angels.[2]

On 6 September 2024, Lock was loaned to National League side Braintree Town until early October,[11] with his debut for the club coming a day later; as he came on as an 89th-minute subsitute for Kyrell Lisbie, during a 0–0 draw against Woking on 7 September.[12]
