Patella lugubris is a species of sea snail, a true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Patellidae, one of the families of true limpets.[1]

The length of the shell attains 50.4 mm.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Verde and the Azores.[2]
