Pelsall Common[2] is a large park in the village of Pelsall, in the West Midlands County, England.[3] It is split over four village areas and a conservation zone.[4] It is also one of two in the village, the other being Pelsall North Common.[5] The common is also a large open space.

Geography

The common begins from the Pelsall area of Heath End[6] near the junction of Allens Lane and Walsall Road, it then continues north to the crossroads of Hall Lane, Walsall Road, Norton Road, and Vicarage Road.[7] From here, the common is split into four sections as listed below:
- Section 1 - Hall Lane, Norton Road, and Church Road: This section is to the west of Norton Road, south of Church Road, and north of Hall Lane. It incorporates a play park, church hall and a footpath.[8]
- Section 2 - Vicarage Road, Norton Road, Victoria Street, and Station Road: This section is to the east of Norton Road, north of Vicarage Road, and west of Victoria Street and Station Road (partly). The park is mostly open space with no real playgrounds or equipment.[9]
- Section 3 - High Street, Highfield Road/Little Common/Green Lane and Norton Road. This section is mostly split over small sections but is at a T-junction with High Street to the west and Norton Road to the east. It is home to the Pelsall War Memorial and a small housing estate on the northern end between Norton Road, Highfield Road, and Little Common/Green Lane.[10]
- Section 4 - Highfield Road, Old Town Lane, and Green Lane: This section is only a small portion of the common, it is bisected by Highfield Road to the east, Old Town Lane to the south, and Green Lane to the west and north. It is simply an open space.[11]
Notable landmarks

Pelsall Common is home to some notable local landmarks including:
- St Michael's Church - The main parish church of Pelsall, it is located on Church Road/Hall Lane, close to the common and is part of the wider Pelsall Common Conservation Area.[12]
- Pelsall War Memorial - The village's main Grade II listed war memorial, it is located on the edge of the common section between Norton Road and High Street.[13]
- Lake - A small lake is located on the section off Commonside and is popular with local walkers and bird species.[14]
