Kampong Petani (Malay: Kampung Petani), also simply known as Petani,[2][3] is a populated area in Tutong, the town of Tutong District, Brunei. It is officially a village-level subdivision under the mukim or subdistrict of Pekan Tutong,[2] as well as a designated postcode area with the postcode TA1741.[3] Parts of Petani area is also under the spatial jurisdiction of the municipality of Tutong.[4] Petani is de facto the commercial area of the town.[citation needed]

Infrastructure

Tutong Central Mall is a shopping mall located within the village.[5]

Around 75% of pupils were enrolled in schools nationwide in 1928, with Pekan Petani Malay School having 78% of the total enrolled.[6]
