Pirmin Schwander[1] (born 28 December 1961) is a Swiss businessman, economist and politician. He has served as a member on the National Council for the Swiss People's Party since 2003.[2] In the 2023 Swiss federal election Schwander was nominated to serve on the Council of States,[3][4][5] which he won.[6]

Schwander served as president of the Campaign for an Independent and Neutral Switzerland from 2004 to 2014.
