1919 - Laurent Tailhade (b. 1854; pictured) dies. French poet, writer, anarchist polemist, opium addict (La noire idole), translator (Satyricon de Pétrone).
1920 - Count de Salvatierra, ex-governor of Barcelona (the "Pacifier of Barcelona," responsible for the repression of the CNT, & the "ley de fugas" murders of 30 trade unionists) is shot down by several anarchists. Salvatierra had been lying low because of threats to his life. Police attribute the attack to Ramón Casanellas & Pere (Pedro) Matheu, who are responsible similar previous actions.
1966 - Billy Murcott arrives in San Francisco, California. Joins longtime friend, anarchist Emmett Grogan, to collaborate on various undertakings including the founding of the Diggers.
