- December 14 — Flying Dog Brewery will move all of its brewing operations at their Aspen, Colorado headquarters to their Frederick, Maryland facility to improve operating efficiency and combat rising ingredient costs. (Baltimore Business Journal)
- December 9 — The price of hops (pictured) has increased by 350 to 400 percent in the last year, due to increased demand coupled with drought in the United States and flooding in Europe reducing the supply. Market analysts expect an increase in the price of beer. (The Morning Call)
- December 6 — San Miguel Corporation has announced that its planned initial public offering of its San Miguel Beer Division will be pushed back to the second quarter of 2008. The IPO is expected to raise 25 billion Philippine pesos for the company. (Reuters)
