King's College, Cambridge is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. Formally The King's College of Our Lady and St. Nicholas in Cambridge, it is referred to as King's within the university. John Maynard Keynes entered King's College, Cambridge, in 1902, to study mathematics, but the famous Alfred Marshall begged Keynes to become an economist. It was at this time when Keynes became the President of the Cambridge University Liberal Club. Keynes received his B.A. in 1905 in mathematics. |
