Suggestions
Is there a high quality Indiana picture this portal can't live without? Please post you suggestions below to let your voice be heard.
Procedure
The nomination process here is relaxed, but articles that meet the featured article or featured picture requirements are more likely to gain support.
Nominating articles
- Find a picture or animation related to Indiana that you think is very good. It need not be a current Featured Article or Featured picture, but if it is, it could only help the nomination.
- If the article was previously nominated for featured status, or if it has been on peer review, try to resolve as many of the remaining objections as possible.
- In the nominations section below, add a third level section header with the linked page title as the section name (
===[[Page title]]===
). Below this new header, add your reasons for nomination and sign your nomination with~~~~
.
Supporting and objecting
- If you approve of a nomination, write "Support" followed by your reasons.
- A nomination is considered a vote in support, so nominators don't need to add another vote to their nominations.
- If you oppose a nomination, write "Oppose" followed by the reasons for your objection. Where possible, objections should provide a specific rationale that can be addressed.
- To withdraw an objection, strike it out (with
<s>...</s>
) rather than removing it.
- To withdraw an objection, strike it out (with

KB&S Chase to Boswell
As it's winter, I'd like to nominate this photo which I took in rural Benton County after the "Valentine's Day Blizzard" last February. It looks west from a point known as Chase along the Kankakee, Beaverville and Southern Railroad, a line used almost entirely for transporting grain during harvest time. In the distance are the water tower and grain elevators of the small town of Boswell. Huwmanbeing ★ 21:57, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I like the idea and would almost say yes, but it doesn't really show anything very significant nor is a very high quality pic. But looking thru your pics, I wouldn't mind putting Image:Fort Ouiatenon blockhouse.png up here. What do you think? Joe I 06:48, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- That'd be fine if you think it's a most suitable choice. Very few of my pics show anything of great import – most are just images of the countryside or of small towns and villages – but Ouiatenenon certainly has some historical significance. Huwmanbeing ★ 13:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

A little bit from Southern Indiana would be nice. Here is a picture of Beck's Mill, which is on the National Register, before it was restored.--Bedford 18:26, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Grain harvesting
Would a photo like this be appropriate? It shows grain being hauled on trucks to the elevators at Stewart in Warren County during harvest time. I think adding at least one picture (this one or any other) to represent the agricultural activity of Indiana would be nice. Thanks! Huwmanbeing ☀★ 22:27, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
