Portal:Puerto Rico/Nominations

Welcome to the Puerto Rico Portal Nominations subpage. On this page, anyone may nominate Puerto Rico-related content under the sections below for display under the "Selected" series in the Puerto Rico Portal page.

Instructions
Please remember, this is a discussion page for nominations, it is not a page to conduct votes on an article. Users are encouraged to either Support or Oppose by providing their views and opinions on the nominated content. Please do not simply vote on an entry, rather, express the reasons for your support or objection so that the Community can better decide on the nomination.

To nominate, please do the following:

  1. Add the content to the corresponding section below with a reason on why you think it should be presented on the Portal page. Don't forget to sign!
  2. Consider leaving a message at the subject's talk page to let other users know about the nomination.

Nominations should remain open for at least 5 days. Afterwards, the successful nominations should be included in the "Selected content" rotation pages (Articles, Pictures, Biography), while unsuccessful nominations should be archived on this page.

Guidelines

edit

This section contains article suggestions for an entry in the Puerto Rico Portal page, under the Selected article section. Please consider the following tips before nominating:

  • Given their superior quality, Featured articles and Good articles are always welcome by the community for Selected Article inclusion.
  • Articles that are not FA or GA should be well-written, stable, and attributed (appropriately referenced).
  • Articles that are considered in Stub or Start classes probably lack one or more important aspects of a reasonably complete, neutral, and attributed article, and may be rejected by the community for Selected Article status.
