I removed this [1] as I don't believe it belongs. This isn't the signpost and the story is likely of limited interest outside wikipedia. Indeed the headline itself was misleading and provocative. The article doesn't mention anything about the recent local elections, which occurred long after the resignation/multiple accounts was discovered and the person didn't apparently take part in the recent local elections (or if he did, it doesn't appear to have had any effect). The only reason this story is of any interest is because it involves a member of the arbcom but while of great interest to wikipedians perhaps, it's of far less interest to everyone else which may explain why it only got in to the news 2 weeks+ later. To put it a different way, were it not for the fact that this concerns wikipedia and editors on wikipedia are naturally edited in wikipedia, few people would have noticed it considered putting it on Nil Einne (talk) 16:32, 7 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
