Israeli Snipers
editThe news say "Israeli snipers continue to fire at anyone near the Al-Shifa Hospital, trapping thousands of people inside.", the sources reference, NPR and al Jazeera, are not saying so! The only thing remotely close is Al Jazeera saying the following:
'Health Ministry Undersecretary Munir al-Boursh said snipers were firing at any movement inside the compound.'
This is disputed and far from well established fact as the IDF is denying indiscriminate shooting and no reliable third party has been quoted to say that snipers are trapping thousands inside. One cannot base a news item solely on what a single person said, particularly if that person is affiliated with an organization which has lied before regarding the conflict just a few weeks ago (e.g. regarding the number of deaths in the Shifa rocket failure incident) and a single news organization with clear Hamas bias and Qatari ties.
It is also worth noting that this is at least the second time user SkylarEstrada has misquoted the origin to paint a more pro-hamas narrative and presented hearsay as fact.
