This incoming unnamed cabinet is the incoming Cabinet of Indonesia. It will be announced by Prabowo Subianto on 21 October 2024.[1]

Despite that the cabinet will formally be activated on 21 October 2024, two Prabowo's Cabinet are agencies already appointed and working near the end of Joko Widodo's Onward Indonesia Cabinet. The twelfth reshuffle done on 19 August 2024 already activated Presidential Communication Office and National Nutrition Agency.[2]
On 10 September 2024, Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka started the ministerial selection process after receiving the list of ministerial candidates.[3]
Known Details
edit- In this cabinet several merged ministries that previously merged during Joko Widodo administration will be undone. Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is the first ministry that confirmed to be split into two ministries, Ministry of Public Works and Ministry of Public Housing.[4]
- Four of the ministers will be Taruna Nusantara alumni.[5]
- The cabinet will be a zakenkabinet. Once formed, this will be fourth zakenkabinet formed in Indonesia.[6] Previously, Indonesia had three short-lived zakenkabinets: Natsir Cabinet, Wilopo Cabinet, and Djuanda Cabinet.
- This cabinet will be the first cabinet that will have more ministries than 34 after the limitation of the ministerial numbers lifted.[7] Zulkifli Hasan, Chairman of National Mandate Party said that Prabowo ministers will be around 44.[8]
- Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) potentially joined Prabowo administration.[9] If PDI-P joined the government, this will for the first time there will be no opposition against ruling government since New Order period up until the Fifth Development Cabinet.
