Presidency of Yamandú Orsi

The presidency of Yamandú Orsi is set to begin on March 1, 2025, when Yamandú Orsi will be inaugurated as the 43th president of Uruguay.[1] Orsi, a member of the Movement of Popular ParticipationBroad Front is scheduled to take office following his victory over the National Party nominee Álvaro Delgado in the second round of the 2024 general election.[2]

Orsi's candidacy for the Broad Front presidential primary for president of Uruguay in the 2024 election election was made official on December 8, 2023, during the party congress.[3]
