Ranbir Singh Pora–Jammu South Assembly constituency

Ranbir Singh Pora–Jammu South Assembly constituency is one of the 90 constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir a north state of India. Ranbir Singh Pora is also part of Jammu Lok Sabha constituency.[1][2][3]

  • Sardar Darshan Singh Azad, 1940-2021 was Senior National Conference Leader and Provincial Vice President of JKNC. Sardar Darshan Singh Azad served as Chairman of Department of Judiciary and Panchayat (2011-2020). Sardar Darshan Singh was a famous personality of Jammu and Kashmir state. He was retired from state civil services as a Government headmaster in year 1982. In 1982 he was Nominated as district Vice President of JKNC, Mr. Singh was also elected as President of DGPC Jammu in year 1983. In year 1987 Mr. Singh contested as member of legislative council (MLC). In year 2016 Mr. Darshan Singh Azad was nominated as provincial Vice President of JKNC by Former Chief Minister and Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Other Party Leaders. Sardar Darshan Singh Azad Passed away on 6 September 2021.
