Reynaldo Sucayan Tamayo Jr.[1] is a Filipino politician serving as the governor of South Cotabato since 2019.[2] He was previously mayor of Tupi from 2010 to 2019.[3][4][5]

He has been the president of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) since 2019.[6]

He is also the National President of League of the Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) from 2022-2025, currently the National Chairman of Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines and Vice Chairperson of National Anti-Poverty Commission

Under the leadership of Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr, South Cotabato has already surpassed almost every aspect of development. In 2022, it was recognized as one of the most competitive provinces in the country and the most business-friendly province in Region XII.

His landmark programs such as Free Hospitalization, Free Education and the Consolidated Rice Production and Mechanization programs aimed at ensuring sustainable economic development championing inclusive to all sectors of the society especially those coming from the marginalized sector.
