Early life and carrer

edit

Robert Crumbach was born in Heerlen, Nederlande near Aachen, Germany and grew up in Rhineland-Palatinate. From 1982 to 1988 he studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the University of Trier. From October 1, 1991, he worked as a labor judge, initially at the Frankfurt (Oder) Labor Court, and since 1998 at the Potsdam Labor Court. He worked as head of department in the Brandenburg Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Family and Women and as an employee of the SPD parliamentary group of Brandenburg.[1]

In 2024 he switched from SPD to BSW and got elected to the Brandeburg state parliament.[2]

Political positions

edit

Crumbach ruled out a coalition with the AfD, but wants to deal with AfD applications “like all other applications”.[3] He rejects strict non-cooperation ("firewall") with the right-wing radicals in parliament. According to his argument, the AfD would benefit from this.[4]
