Robert Reese is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he is the representative for South Carolina's 70th district.

Education and activism
editReese earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He is executive director of South Carolina Interfaith Power and Light.[1]
Serving as head of a Lower Richland branch of the South Carolina NAACP, he led action to protect the environment.[2]

editReese defeated two candidates to become the Democratic nominee.[3][4][5] He went on to win the seat unopposed in the general election.[6]
