Rodney Kefas Namisi, known professionally as Kefas Brand,[1][2] is a Ugandan actor, film director, artist and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lot Fire Records an independent music recording company based in Uganda.

Early life
editKefas Brand was born on May 24, 2001 to Sir Samuel Kefa Namisi and Mariam Namisi.[3] Growing up in Mbale and later residing in Kampala, he is the elder sibling of Princess Praise Elizabeth, Namisi Govin Emma, and Namisi Arnold Paul.[4]
Education background
editHe attended Seroma Christian High School in Mukono and later graduated in Mass communication and media management at Makerere University in 2023..[3]
Career
editHis journey into film acting began during his elementary school years, where he served as the entertainment prefect.[3] His professional film acting career started in 2020 with the release of his first film, "Lucky Winner",[5] which was produced under the guidance of Think Tv Uganda. Kefas Brand is known for acting inspirational and advocacy films.[6]
Personal life
editKefas Brand is the second child among four siblings belonging to the Namisi family. His siblings are Namisi Eric Vincent, the firstborn, Namisi Arnold Paul, Namisi Govin Emma, and Princess Elizabeth Praise.[7] In 2023-2024, Kefas Brand was previously in a romantic partnership with Katushabe Fridaus, an actress based in Uganda.[8]
Community activism
editKefas Brand supported the homeless children in his hometown with aid.[9]
