Biography
editRogan O'Handley was born in California in either 1985 or 1986.[2] Rogan O'Handley graduated from Franklin High School in 2003. During his time at Franklin High School, he was recognized on the honor roll at least twice.[3] He also played baseball for the school's team.[4] O'Handley graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University, double-majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science.[5] There, he was elected president of his student government, and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.[2] He later earned a Juris Doctor from University of Chicago Law School.[1] He practiced law in the Hollywood area for 6 years, specializing in entertainment law. After the 2016 United States presidential election, he started an Instagram account under the pseudonym "DC Draino". After the account started to gain traction, he decided to quit his job as attorney and make social media content full-time. He eventually moved to South Florida, where he founded a digital media company. He has since made appearances on Tucker Carlson Tonight, and has been a prominent speaker at an event hosted by the Log Cabin Republicans, despite his content being labeled by some as anti-LGBT.[6]
He has been mentioned as a potential candidate for Florida's 15th congressional district in 2024, reportedly telling Lee County Republican Party Chairman Michael Thompson that he "has not ruled anything out" after Donald Trump called for a primary challenger to incumbent representative Laurel Lee.[7]
