A member of the Italian Communist Party (PCI), Minozzi was elected to the Chamber of Deputies (the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament) in the 1983 general election,[1] and was re-elected for a second term in 1987.[2] In 1991, after the dissolution of the PCI, Minozzi joined the Democratic Party of the Left (PDS).
In the 1992 election, Minozzi, along with many other PDS members, lost their seats, mainly to minor parties.
