Rural Municipality of Dauphin

Dauphin is a rural municipality in the Parkland Region of Manitoba, Canada. The municipality surrounds the separately administered city of Dauphin, and lies just north of Riding Mountain National Park, part of which extends into the RM.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Dauphin had a population of 2,136 living in 896 of its 1,023 total private dwellings, a change of -7% from its 2016 population of 2,298. With a land area of 1,512.79 km2 (584.09 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.4/km2 (3.7/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
