The SC Scorpion is a Ukrainian single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by SC Paragliding of Kharkiv. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development
editThe Scorpion was designed as an advanced cross country glider. The models are each named for their wing area in square metres.[1]
Variants

- Extra small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its wing has an area of 22 m2 (240 sq ft), 67 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.5:1. The pilot weight range is 60 to 75 kg (132 to 165 lb).[1]
- Scorpion 25
- Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its wing has an area of 25 m2 (270 sq ft), 67 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.5:1. The pilot weight range is 70 to 90 kg (154 to 198 lb).[1]
- Scorpion 27
- Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its wing has an area of 27 m2 (290 sq ft), 67 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.5:1. The pilot weight range is 80 to 100 kg (176 to 220 lb).[1]
- Scorpion 30
- Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its wing has an area of 30 m2 (320 sq ft), 67 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.5:1. The pilot weight range is 95 to 120 kg (209 to 265 lb).[1]
