Safet Alibašić (born 21 December 1982)[1][2] is a Bosnian male sitting volleyball player and a multiple medalist at the Summer Paralympics.

Alibašić is part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team since 2001.[2] He stood on the podium of the world and European championships (including the world champion in 2002 and 2006,[3][2] and the European champion in 2001, 2003,[3] 2009[4] and 2013).[5] In the years 2004–2021 he won five Paralympic medals, including two gold medals (2004, 2012), two silver medals (2008, 2016) and one bronze medal (2021).[6][7] By 2019 he had played in 119 matches for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.[1]
In 2017, Alibašić was awarded the title of outstanding international sportsman by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.[8]
