Salensis is Latin for "of the island of Sal", Cape Verde. It may refer to several species found on the island and in the surrounding waters:
- Manzonia salensis, a minute sea snail species
- Oochoristica salensis, a tapeworm species
- Parablennius salensis, a blenny species
