Sambayya is a 1999 Telugu-language film directed by K. S. Nageswara Rao and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the banner Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. The film stars Srihari, Prakash Raj, Radhika Chaudhari, and Manorama in prominent roles. The music was composed by Vandemataram Srinivas.[1][2]

Plot
editThe story follows Sambayya (Srihari), a small pan-shop owner residing in a modest neighbourhood. After being imprisoned for a murder, he emerges with a desire for revenge. The narrative then unfolds to reveal the challenges and events that follow.

Reception
editGriddaluru Gopala Rao of Zamin Ryot gave the film a positive review, praising Posani Krishna Murali's socially conscious script and dialogues, which reflect contemporary politics, as well as Srihari's performance.[4]
