Samuel Okunlola (born September 27, 2003) is an American football defensive end for the Colorado Buffaloes. He previously played for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Early life and high school
editOkunlola attended high school at Thayer Academy located in Braintree, Massachusetts, where coming out of high school, he was rated as a three star recruit.[1] Ultimately, Okunlola decided to commit to play college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers.[2][3]
College career
editPittsburgh
editDuring Okunlola's first collegiate season in 2022, he appeared in four games where he recorded no statistics.[4] In week seven of the 2023 season, Okunlola notched four tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, as he helped the Panthers to an upset win over the Louisville Cardinals.[5] During the 2023 season, Okunlola notched 18 tackles with six being for a loss, five sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in eleven games for the Panthers.[6]

editOkunlola decided to transfer to play for the Colorado Buffaloes.[7][8]
Personal life
editOkunlola's younger brother Samson is an offensive tackle for the Miami Hurricanes.[9][10]
