Scofray Nana Yaw Yeboah

Scofray Nana Yaw Yeboah (born September 13, 1980) is a Ghanaian transformational coach, mBIT trainer, mBIT Master Coach, corporate trainer, consultant, author,[1] and columnist.[2][3][4][5] In 2019, he became a Fellow of the Crans Montana Forum (CMF), an international organization based in Switzerland.[6] In 2023, he became the first graduate globally to become a Fellow of the Institute of Commercial Management, United Kingdom.[7] He is the world's first Black professional mBIT Trainer in Africa.[8] He is also the lead trainer and consultant at Zoweh Global Consult and since 2024, he has been the President of the ICF Ghana Chapter[9][10][11]

Scofray serves as the President of Eastern Konnect, a network connecting alumni associations in the Eastern Region of Ghana.[12]

Early life

Scofray was born on September 13, 1980 at Adweso, Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He was born to Mr Ebenezer Yaw Otu as his father and Victoria Abena Kwakyewaa as his mother. He hails from Akropong Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana.[13]

Education

Scofray attended St. Dominic's Catholic School in Adweso for his basic education in 1995.[13] He had his secondary education at the Koforidua Senior High Technical School in Koforidua, from January 1996 to December 1998. He served as the president of the old students association up until the year 2020.[14][15][16]

He proceeded to the City and Guilds of London Institute, where he studied microcomputer technology and electrical-electronics engineering.[17] He is a certified professional trainer by IAPPD United Kingdom.[13]

In July 2024, he completed a certifying training in mBIT Coach Training from the Reveal Solutions Training in Cancon France.[18]

In May 2021, he obtained a certificate in ontological mindfulness and ecological coaching[19] from Ideal Coaching Global in San Francisco, California, USA.[20][21] He is also a trained facilitator at the Institute of Healing Memories in Cape Town, South Africa.[22]

In 2022, he completed a certifying training in mBIT Master Coaching from the NeuroCoach Institute in South Africa.[23][24] He holds a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and Advance Diploma in Leadership studies from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) in the UK.[25]

Career

Scofray has worked in several capacities as a brand expert, corporate trainer, transformational coach, writer, and author. As a Columnist, he has 34 publications to his credit at ModernGhana.com.[13] He is also a media analyst and the lead consultant for Zoweh Global Consult.[26][27] He is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers.[22]

He is the current president of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Ghana Chapter. The ICF is the largest professional coaching body in the world.[28][29][30] Presently, he holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation with over 3000 coaching hours[29][31]

Awards and recognition

  • Scofray was honored as a fellow of Crans Montana Forum in 2019.[6]
  • Presently, he holds the distinction of being the first black male mBIT Master Coach Master Coach in Africa.[32]
  • He was nominated in the Special Recognition category for the Africa Youth's Award in 2016.[13]
  • He is recognized as the first Ghanaian and African to graduate from Ideal Coaching Global in San Francisco, California in the USA.[20]
  • He is recognized as the first African OME Systemic Thinking Executive Coach, having completed the Advanced Training for Executive Coaching.[33]
  • He was recognized as one of the Most Influential Young Ghanaians in 2015 and 2016.
  • Yeboah was recognized by Speakers Bureau Africa as one of Ghana's top 100 Speakers.[6]
