Simen Oscar Fredrik Omang (23 March 1867 – 29 November 1953) was a Norwegian botanist.

Biography
editOmang was born in Hamar on 23 March 1867, and graduated as cand.real. in 1895. He specialized in the genus Hieracium, and described several new species of the genus.[1] Omang distributed an exsiccata-like series of specimens named by him Specimina selecta Hieraciorum Norvegiae.[2]
He was the father of Reidar Omang.[3]
