Sonny Aljofree (born 19 December 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays for Accrington Stanley, on loan from Manchester United, as a defender.[2]

Career
editBorn in Plymouth,[3] Aljofree began his career with Manchester United, training with the first-team in August 2022.[4]
He moved on loan to non-league Altrincham in February 2023 alongside teammates Joe Hugill and Maxi Oyedele, whilst continuing to train with their parent club.[5][6] He turned professional in May 2023.[7]
He returned on loan to Altrincham in February 2024.[8] Due to this second loan, he was prevented from playing with the Manchester United first-team.[9][10]
Aljofree signed on loan for Accrington Stanley in August 2024.[11]
Personal life
editHis father is former footballer Hasney Aljofree.[10] His paternal grandfather was from Singapore.[12]
