Sphingomonas lacus is a Gram-negative, aerobic and motile bacteria from the genus of Sphingomonas which has been isolated from soil near a pond in Daejeon in Korea.[1][2][3] Sphingomonas lacus produces astaxanthin-dideoxyglycoside.[3]
