Spor tayt, sporysz [ˈspɔr,ˈspɔrɨʂ] is a frumentaceous demon in Slavic mythology.[1] Its name means ''argument''. It is said that the demon was responsible for the exuberance of cereal collection[2] or growth[3] and tended to take the form of a small animal, a hamster or a rat.[1]
