Starabarysaw (Belarusian: Старабарысаў, romanized: Starabarysaŭ;[1] Russian: Староборисов, Старо-Борисов, romanized: Staroborisov, Staro-Borisov) is an agrotown in Barysaw District, Minsk Region, Belarus.[1] It serves as the administrative center of Pryharadny selsoviet.[1][2] It is located seven kilometres (4.3 mi) from Barysaw and 75 kilometres (47 mi) from Minsk.[3]

History
editThe settlement was first mentioned in 1102 when the prince Rogvolod Vseslavich ordered its construction.[3]
