Sudeep Gupta is an Indian medical oncologist. He is the Director of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, the apex centre for cancer treatment, research and education in India.[1][2]

Education

Sudeep Gupta is an alumnus of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, from where he completed his MBBS, MD in General Medicine, and DM in Medical Oncology.[3] [4]

Career

He started his career as a Professor of Oncology at the Tata Memorial Hospital, and rose to the level of Head of Medical Oncology, succeeding Suresh Advani. He was then appointed the Director of Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Navi Mumbai, where he oversaw its expansion.[5][6] He succeeded Rajendra Achyut Badwe as the Director of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2023.[7]
