Reception
editSummer '03 received mixed reviews from critics. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 63% of 24 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 6.4/10. The website's consensus reads: "A cool scoop of cliché that doesn't completely melt under pressure, Summer of 03 goes down easy thanks to Becca Gleason's earnest direction."[6] On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 45% based on reviews from five critics.[7]
