Sunshine is a 2024 psychological sports drama film written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone. Starring Maris Racal, Elijah Canlas, Xyriel Manabat, Jennica Garcia, Annika Co, and Meryll Soriano, the film follows a young gymnast who finds out she is pregnant on the week of the national tryouts. It is scheduled to premiere on September 13 at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.[2][3]

Premise
editAn aspiring young gymnast named Sunshine finds out she is pregnant on the week of the national team tryouts. On her way to a seller of illegal abortion drugs, she meets a mysterious girl who eerily thinks and talks like her.[4]
