Camp Capitola also called the Superintendent Office, is a historical building in Capitola, California in Santa Cruz County. Camp Capitola building is a California Historical Landmark No. 860 listed on April 26, 1973. The Camp Capitola building is City of Capitola's oldest commercial building. From 1883 to 1919 the Camp Capitola building was the headquarters of F. A. Hihn's operations, called Camp Capitola. F. A. Hihn owned and ran the first seaside resort in the state of California, Camp Capitola.[1]

The grand opening of the 15 acre seaside resort was on July 4, 1874. The seaside resort was at the present site of Village neighborhood and Depot Hill neighborhood of Capitola. The Superintendent's Office Building was made local redwood and was used as the seaside resort headquarter until 1930. [2]
A historical marker was placed in 1973 by State Department of Parks & Recreation and the Capitola Historical Society.[3]
