Feedback from New Page Review process
editI left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Do we really need all these sub districts when they are all listed with villages in the main district article? These should just be redirects to Shar'ab as-Salam District.

- Insertcleverphrasehere, I think I am going to remove much of that long list in Shar'ab as-Salam article. The sub districts are much notable than villages yet there are a lot of villages stubs in Wikipedia.--SharʿabSalam▼ (talk) 01:36, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- SharabSalam, yet that would just fragment all the information and make everything harder to find. Isn't it better to just have a single article than dozens of stubs? — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 01:41, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- Insertcleverphrasehere, there are too much villages in other districts. If I put all of their names in the district articles it will create a very long list. I have seen many villages stubs in Wikipedia. As I said, just type "Category:Villages" in the search bar and you will see that there are a lot of villages stubs. I didn't want to create villages stubs. I preferred creating sub districts, a bigger adminstrative division. I wrote the names of the villages in these articles. Also, I am planning to expand these articles. There is some content from Abu Muhammad al-Hasan al-Hamdani book that can help expand these articles.--SharʿabSalam▼ (talk) 01:51, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- SharabSalam, Ok. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 02:03, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- Insertcleverphrasehere, one last thing, see this village stub Jurgiškės for example, one source, the population is less than 80 people. And it's not just this stub, Wikipedia has many of these kinds of stubs. At least the sub-districts articles that I am creating have thousands of population and there is more than one source.--SharʿabSalam▼ (talk) 02:24, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- SharabSalam, Yes. Villiages are inherently notable per WP:GEO, sub-districts are artificail municipal divisions and get no such luxury, so the issue isn't really "how many people". That being said, if there is a reasonable reason for organising the articles this way. It's fine. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 03:24, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
